Fort Myers has approved adding an assisted living facility to the Amtel Hotel project.
The new Campo Felice accommodates people 55 and over.
It has an add-on structure with 100 assisted-living units in a high-rise apartment building.
The facility on Edwards Drive also offers medical services for not only Campo Felice residents, but also for other seniors living in nearby facilities.
