Sarasota County, Florida –Even though meals are free for all students this year, families must complete a Free & Reduced Meal Application to ensure continued funding for our classrooms.
A new application must be filled out each school year to continue the meal benefits. Meal benefits begin on the day the application is processed by Food and Nutrition Services and continue throughout the school year, the summer and approximately the first thirty days of the next school year.
When you qualify for free or reduced-price meals, your family might be eligible for additional discounts on:
– testing fees
– athletic fees
– college application fees
– internet access
