The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public once again for help solving the 2022 shooting death of a 15-year-old girl at a large costume party on Harney Road. Deputies responded to gunfire on Nov. 1, 2022, after an argument broke out at the gathering. A 19-year-old man was wounded in the shooting and survived. As the fourth anniversary approaches, the case remains an active investigation.
Detectives say they believe several people who attended the party have never come forward, and their accounts could be the key to identifying whoever was responsible. The sheriff’s office says the family’s grief hasn’t faded with time, and investigators are urging anyone with information to reach out.
