It has been four years since one man was shot and killed outside of a department store in Cape Coral, and detectives said the person who murdered him is still on the run. Alfred E. Griffiths died at a hospital after being shot outside the TJ Maxx at 1502 Del Prado Boulevard South the night of Nov. 18, 2014. A K9 unit, Lee County Sheriff’s Office helicopter, detectives and forensics all reported to assist in the investigation, but were never able to locate or identify a suspect. Now, the Cape Coral Police Department is reintroducing the shooting to the public, and asking anyone who may have information to come forward.
