Four adults were stabbed to death Saturday night in Houma, Louisiana, and a child under ten is in critical condition after running to a neighbor’s house on Ashland Drive with serious wounds. The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office found the four adult victims inside two nearby homes after responding to the call, and the wounded boy was airlifted out of the area for treatment.
By Sunday morning, deputies had taken 47-year-old Kaegan Jude Solet into custody. He was initially named a person of interest, and the sheriff’s office later identified him as the suspect in the killings. First Lieutenant Blake Tabor, a spokesperson with 28 years on the job, called the case horrific and unforgettable, and noted the child faces a long recovery both physically and emotionally. The investigation remains active.
