The governor says Florida’s spring training has set an all-time attendance record.

Grapefruit League attendance for the state’s 15 teams has averaged over 7,000 fans per game for the first time.

The Tampa Bay Rays play spring training games at Charlotte Sports Park.

They averaged nearly 5,300 fans over 13 games this spring.

The Tampa Tribune reports their largest crowd came Mar. 18 against the Boston Red Sox at nearly 6,900.
