Gov. Scott has ordered the Florida Highway Patrol to dispatch eight troopers at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School starting today (Thursday). A number of issues have come up at the school recently. The suspect’s brother was arrested while on campus, two other students were caught with knives and another made online threats. There will also be Broward County deputies on campus for an indefinite period of time. The change allows an armed officer to be at every entry point of the school.
