An Englewood man died following a collision in Placida Harbor.
Family members have identified him to WBBH-TV as 23-year-old Dylan Gonzalez.
It happened near the Boca Grande Causeway early Sunday morning.
Two boats hit each other, and friends of Gonzalez say the other boat may have broken the rules.
That 20-foot boat carried five people as it hit the one carrying Gonzalez.
One of his friends remains hospitalized. People in that other boat also had injuries.
FWC continues investigating.the crash. It remains unclear whether or not they face charges.
