Firefighters dealt with an intense fire at a home in Punta Gorda this morning.
It happened on Green Gulf Boulevard.
Firefighters did not find anyone inside upon their first search.
Crews needed to act quickly because of the brush surrounding the building.
The state fire marshal soon joins the investigation.
