A woman was hit by a car in a hit-and-run crash on this morning in Naples, according to Florida Highway Patrol. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office received a call about the woman at 7:18 a.m. and when they arrived, they found her in a ditch near the side of 106th Avenue North. The woman was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries, but she’s expected to be okay. Investigators said there were two parts of a headlight left behind at the scene, and that the vehicle that hit the woman should have damage to its front end.
