A federal judge has ruled that Graydon Young, 54, of Englewood will stay in jail without bond. In an FBI report, Young and other members of the Oath Keepers stormed into the Capitol Rotunda on January 6th. He and others are also accused of attempting to destroy evidence after the event. Young has served the U.S. Army Reserve and the U.S. Navy
The FBI has filed a complaint which includes photos a man they say is Young. Federal Authorities have identified Young his sister Laura Steel and others in camouflage, body armor and helmets during the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
Evidence presented also include texts between Young and other members of the Oath Keepers. The FBI describes the Oath Keepers a large unorganized collection of militia who believe in a conspiracy that the federal government has been co-opted.
Young and six others were arrested on federal charges last week. Young has remains in the custody of U.S. Marshals at the Pinellas County Jail.
