There was a fatal, single-vehicle accident on I-75 in Charlotte County early Satrday morning. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that 45-year-old Timothy Brian Williams of Cape Coral was northbound on I-75 in his Chevy Avalanche. At about mile marker 168, williams lost control of the vehicle, which slid into heavy vegetation on the center median and rolled over. Williams was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and died from his injuries.
