A fatal crash is under investigation after one woman died Monday night. Around 10pm, a vehicle traveling southbound on South Tamiami Trail at Grove Street hit a female adult near the intersection while she was crossing west . Police say the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk and the area she was crossing is dark. The woman died at the scene. Officials say the driver of the vehicle stopped and was cooperative with officers.
