A jailbird from Ohio was arrested by police in Venice earlier today.
This morning, police were investigating a vehicle theft when the four suspects tried to run on foot. Three of the four were immediately captured.
The fourth, 30-year old Christopher William Tolle, was able to briefly escape. It turns out Tolle had escaped from the Adams County Jail in Ohio, where he had been held on burglary and theft charges.
