The 12-year-old Escambia County girl who went missing was found dead in a Florida Creek. The autopsy says she was likely suffocated. Sheriff David Morgan said that Naomi Jones around the May 31st date she was last seen and that she may have been targeted by a convicted sexual predator that she was friendly with on social media. 38-year-old Robert Howard has been arrested and charged with kidnapping, murder and disposing of the girl’s body. Investigators said in a press conference that Howard visited the Aspen Village home of his girlfriend, which is close to the apartment where the Jones family lived. Howard has been convicted of sexual assault and rape in Alabama in 1999 and served 15 years behind bars. His bond is $600,000.
