The SCAT bus route will be ceasing operations later this month. ABC-7 talked with residents last week, many of whom said they had no idea the route even existed. Ed Hill, the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce in Englewood, told the station that they failed to educate both residents and visitors about the bus line. SCAT does, though, plan to bring the route back in December. SCAT spokesperson Kendra Keiderling said her agency is also looking at doing a park and ride near the downtown area near Dearborn.
