The second Englewood Paddlefest happens this weekend and gets underway tonight with a pool party, including a shrimp boil and movie, at Cape Haze Marina. Beginning tomorrow morning at 9, it’s the races: a six-mile paddle from Englewood Beach to Stump Pass and back as well as a three-mile race and a one-point-five fun race and a kids’ race. Sunday is Paddlefest Day, featuring a paddle clinic, the Paddlefit games which wind up with the Pilgrim Paddle and Thanksgiving lunch.
