An Englewood man got a huge shock when he found out just what kind of pest was making noise in his attic. Bob van der Herchen thought it was the usual- some rats. Turns, out it was a snake. Not a friendly little garden snake…but a more than six foot long boa constrictor. A snake trapper was called in to remove the giant. van der Herchen told NewsChannel 8 he thinks it was someone’s pet at some point, and likely got inside by slithering off a tree branch that comes close to the house. The snake trapper took the animal away and found a more suitable home for it.
