Four Charlotte County firefighters were presented with the prestigious Medal Of Valor for their lifesaving efforts last night.
Battalion Chief Michael Clements, Lt. Amy Judy, Lt. John Kelly, and Firemedic Nick Miller all received the honor at Tuesday’s County Commissioners Meeting.
The recognition comes after a January 20th fire at a home in Port Charlotte. Crews rescued two people from inside that home as flames shot through the roof.
Both of the residents survived and continue to recover.
