After a month long investigation, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of eight people. The arrests happened Thursday at 2217 Ednor Ave, in Port Charlotte. SWAT was also on scene of the event that saw all seven people charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine Two of the eight were charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

April Dinunno, dob of 4-12-1982, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
· Vincent Russo, dob 5-3-1958, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
· Shawn Smith, dob 5-15-1981, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
· Cynthia Turner, dob 11—1-1989, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cannabis Less than 20 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
· Matthew Wharton, dob 5-30-1976, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
· Steven Woodbury, dob 6-1-1990, Possession of a Firearm after being Convicted of a Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
· William Woodbury, dob 10-29-1988, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
· William Ronald Wright, dob 11-28-1990, Maintaining a Nuisance Dwelling, Theft of Utilities, Possession of a Firearm after being Convicted of a Felony, Possession of Ammunition after being Convicted of a Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cannabis Less than 20 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
