More than one million voters have cast ballots in Florida’s primary election.

The Florida Division of Elections website says that more than 861,000 voters have mailed in their ballots so far. Nearly 163,000 people have voted at early voting polling places.

Early voting is under way at all 67 counties. Primary day is a week from today.

That number is already rivaling the total number of early votes cast in the 2014 primary, and with still a week to go, is at half the total of the 2016 presidential election.
