A nationwide program based in Venice is helping kids and teens become the next pilots of the future.

Members of the Young Eagles on Saturday took to the skies with more than 2,000 kids in small planes. The future aviators are between the ages of 8-17.

Members of the Experimental Aircraft Association take the kids up, for free, in hopes of directing them to a career in aviation. More info on the program can be found at EAA.org.
