A number of gas stations around the area are reporting they are now out of fuel as people fill up cars, generators, and gas cans in their preparations for Hurricane Irma. According to the website Gas Buddy, less than half of all gas stations in Venice, Englewood, Port Charlotte, and Punta Gorda still have fuel as of this morning.
