The old Classic’s Steakhouse building on Tamiami Trail could soon be developed into a new property. The developer, Mike Miller, told ABC-7 he wants to purchase two addition nearby properties- including the Masonic Lodge- to increase the size for either retail, office space, condos, or even a hotel. The property was recently re-zoned as mixed use commercial, meaning the sky is the limit for Miller and his team. He said it could take up to 18 months for plans to be chosen and if they call for a re-zoning.
