Election time is coming soon and North Port residents have less than two weeks to get registered to be part of the election. Monday, April 10th is the deadline for the May 9th municipal election. Voter applications can be found at public libraries, military recruitment offices, DMV offices or online at sarasotavotes.com. If you have moved or changed names, you will need to complete a new registration form. Once an application is received by the election office, it will be processed and then you should receive a Voter ID Card through the mail that will tell you where to vote and other information you will need to have your ballot count.
