A contractor damaged a water line in the 300 block of Chiquita Boulevard South this morning. This impacted several homes and businesses in the northwest area of Cape Coral, and even schools. The nearby Publix shopping center at Burnt Store Road and Pine Island Road, Mariner Middle and High schools, a Lee County Public Library, Jim Jeffers Park and homes in Blue Water Coach werent getting water, according to a release sent by the city.
