Monday, WENG Radio told you about the boardwalk and picnic tables that were set on fire Sunday at Service Club Park had recently been renovated to the tune of $350,000. It appears that the fire was set by someone to try and stay warm. Winds in the area took the fire and moved it. There is currently no access to the beach from the boardwalk and Service Club Park remains closed. The public is being asked to avoid the area for the foreseeable future.
