A surgery being performed by Florida doctors will hopefully remove a ten-pound tumor from a Cuban boy’s face. The surgery will take place on Jan. 12 at Jackson’s Holtz Children’s Hospital. The boy was born with a disorder called polyostotic fibrous dysplasia. The disease causes body to develop tissue rather than bone. The tumor is benign, but the growth could suffocate him.
