A crash on I-75 last night killed a woman and injured a man.
The highway patrol says 46-year-old Brian Canfield of Fort Myers drove the wrong way on the southbound side near Daniels Parkway.
He had a head-on collision with 34-year-old Anne Shifley of Madeira Beach.
The crash killed Shifley. Canfield went to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
The wreck blocked all southbound lanes for several hours.
It remains unclear whether or not this involved alcohol.
