A contractor working at Village on the Isle was airlifted to Blake Trauma Center after an electrical shock while on the job. Venice fire officials were called to the scene around 11 yesterday morning and found a 56-year old man suffering from electrical burns. Emergency personnel said it appeared the unidentified workers was thrown clear across the electrical room as a result of the shock. He was conscious and somewhat alert when he was airlifted out. An update on his condition was not given.
