The Florida Department of Transportation and Ajax Paving Industries of Florida are making improvements to Business US 41 from Palermo Place to Venice Avenue starting any day now. Crews will remove old asphalt and resurface the roadway, construct new sidewalk and bus shelter pads, install signal upgrades and new signage. Most of the work will occur at night so lane closures will happen, but will be limited. Expected completion of this $1.4 million project is sometime in the summer.
