North Port’s Dallas White Park will be getting new docks over the next month or so.
Crews are set to start repairing them later today. Construction is expected to last until early November.
While construction is going on, both the boat ramp and dock areas will be closed to the public, but the kayak launch will remain open.
The new docks are the latest improvement the city is making to improve access to the canal system.
