Members of the Juvenile Unit of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office teamed up for an enforcement sweep targeting the sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors. The operation included compliance checks on seven businesses licensed to sell alcohol and tobacco products. Six of the seven establishments checked were in compliance. Circle K, Beach Liquor, Oure Gas, Rightway Food, Paris Convenience and Sunoco in Englewood all passed, while Vape Store in Port Charlotte did not.
