A former North Port commissioner will be honored at the annual luncheon meeting of the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce. According to the Chamber, Fred Tower the Third will receive the “2017 Business Advocate” Hall of Fame Award. The luncheon recognizes and honors an individual who has dedicated their time and efforts in support of the business community. It’s scheduled for January 19th at Heron Creek Golf and Country Club.
