A situation that nobody wants happened Tuesday on South Tamiami Trail when a truck overturned and spilled thousands of gallons of raw sewage onto the roadway. The truck had the capability of holding 5,000 gallons of sewage. It is unknown how much of the truck spilled. The driver, 57-year-old Johnny Moorer of Tampa failed to notice the traffic that was backed up near Central Sarasota Parkway. He was cited for careless driving.
