A Collier County man who violated curfew in the wake of Hurricane Irma reportedly died in the custody of the police who arrested him. 31-year-old Devan Rewis was arrested last Thursday, Sept. 14th, after police found him around 1:30am and an altercation endued between the parties. Rewis was tased twice after trying to run away and then taken to a local hospital before going to jail. Rewis was found in his cell shortly before 9am and died around 6pm Thursday.
