Deputies arrested a man on Sunday after he allegedly shot an unsuspecting woman while she sat at her dinner table in her home in Collier County. Juan Arreguin, 41, was shooting a handgun at a target in his backyard at 2980 6th Avenue Southeast around 12:20 in the afternoon when a stray bullet struck a neighbor on 8th Avenue Southeast, according to law enforcement. The 21-year-old victim told deputies that she was sitting at her dinner table next to a window when she heard a loud crash before feeling something strike her right arm and side. She added that she heard gunshots coming from nearby before she was hit. The victim was treated for minor injuries and has since been released from the hospital.
