Wednesday could be the coldest night of the winter in Southwest Florida as a blast of arctic air blows through the area. The National Weather Service says the temperatures could be as low as the mid 20’s north of Interstate 4 and 32 and south to Sarasota. Freeze warnings and wind chill advisories are possible, but the storm will be quick and is expected to be gone by Thursday. The lows for Thursday will be around 40 with the highs being in the 60’s. The 70s should return by the weekend.
