The New Year has gotten off to a warm start on the Suncoast. Forecasters at the National Weather Service say that highs in the upper 70s will continue through Wednesday. Then, the first of two cold fronts moves in, dropping those highs to the low 70s through Saturday. That’s when the second, stronger cold front arrives. The low temperature Saturday night will be 51 and, on Sunday night, 48 degrees. Weekend highs will be in the mid to upper 60s.
