The U.S. Coast Guard has ended a search for a missing 50-year-old boater from Venice. Todd Battaglino is an avid boater who often goes offshore for recreational purposes. He last communicated with his family around 3pm Monday and was reported missing around 12pm on Tuesday. He launched from Royal Marina in Englewood and was said to be heading out to Stump Pass to fish. Multiple agencies were involved in the search.
