CNBC has put Southwest Florida on its list of “America’s Best Places to Start a Business.”
The list of 20 places specifically names Sarasota, but the network has used metro areas as the basis for its list.
Sarasota sits in spot 15 between Raleigh and El Paso.
The Herald-Tribune reports no other region in Florida has made this list.
