It’s a big football Friday night tonight in Punta Gorda. Charlotte High School has made the state Final Four for the third time, but the first time in 14 years. The 12 and oh Tarpons are coming off a 27-to-24 double- overtime win over Fort Myers in the District 3-6A regional championship. Charlotte is Number 7 in Class 6A in the Associated Press’ final football poll and goes up against sixth-ranked Miami Carol City tonight. Kickoff will be at 7:30 at Tarpons Stadium. Admission is nine dollars.
