Port Charlotte, Fl

On Friday, March 24th, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is hosting their first-ever expo event at Port Charlotte Town Center mall. This free event will run from 4 – 7 p.m., and there will be plenty of fun activities and informative displays both inside the food court and in the parking area outside. Inside, attendees can access info about programs, career/volunteer opportunities, an “Ask a Deputy” Q&A booth, and community partner tables. Outside in the parking lot, attendees can get up close with the various vehicles used by CCSO to keep us safe: a SWAT Bearcat, Marine Unit boat, patrol cars, and a CCSO Aviation helicopter.

Partners expected to attend include Drug-Free Charlotte County, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies (C.A.R.E.) and Charlotte Behavioral Health Care — and even a representative from Nintendo.

Community members are welcome to ask questions to better understand how each unit works together to ensure that Charlotte County remains a great place to live!
