April 10, 2026 – Charlotte County, FL

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has officially begun transitioning to our new Administration Building in Port Charlotte.

The current building, located at 7474 Utilities Road, has served as the official headquarters for the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office for more than a quarter century. As the needs of the community have grown, the agency has had to keep pace, requiring a new and more centralized administration complex. Thanks to the “penny sales tax” and the incredible support of our residents and Charlotte County Commissioners, that need has been met, with a new facility located at 3110 Loveland Boulevard, Building C in Port Charlotte.

The Utilities Road office will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC as of Monday, April 20th. An additional release will be shared once the new Administration Office opens.

In the meantime, we want to remind residents that they may utilize their local District Offices for all needs, such as fingerprinting, criminal complaints, report-related inquiries, and in-person records requests. The addresses are listed below for your convenience and can also be found on our website, ccso.org.
