Kids in Charlotte and Manatee Counties will have the rest of the week off.
Charlotte County Schools announced last night that the entire district will be off until Monday, the 18th. As of this morning, there has been no further update on Sarasota County Schools. They are closed today, but the status for the rest of the week remains unknown at this time.
USF Sarasota-Manatee remains without power and a reopening time is still to be determined. The Ringling College is also closed through Friday.
