
Charlotte County Reopens Several Parks, Playgrounds, and Pavilions
Charlotte County Emergency Management has reopened several parks, playgrounds, and pavilions, offering residents more opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities. However, some facilities, including Port Charlotte Beach Park, Chadwick Park, Englewood Beach, and all boat ramps, will remain closed on Tuesday.
Parks now open for public use include Amberjack Environmental Park, Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park, Chester Roberts Park, and Shell Creek Preserve. While Hathaway Park is open, its trail remains closed. Harold Avenue Regional Park has reopened baseball fields 1 and 4.
Many playgrounds are also now accessible, including those at Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park, Bissett Park, Carmalita Park, Cedar Point Environmental Park, Centennial Park, Deep Creek Park, Englewood East Park, Franz Ross Park, Harbour Heights Park, Harold Avenue Regional Park, Higgs Park, Katherine-Ariens Dog Park, Kiwanis Park, Lake Betty Park, Maracaibo Park, McGuire Park, Randy Spence Park, Rotonda Park, South Gulf Cove Park, South County Regional Park, Tringali Park, and William R. Gaines Jr. Veterans Memorial Park.
