Grant is part of more than $75 million given by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to public safety organizations across the U.S.

August  2023 – Charlotte County, Florida

Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office recently received a $24,850 grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to purchase 400 Tourniquet Holders and Seven Zoll G5 AEDs & Accessories. This critical equipment will allow our first responders to be better prepared in emergency situations and protect the citizens of Charlotte County to the best of our abilities.

“On behalf of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and its members, I want to thank the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and our local Firehouse Subs in Port Charlotte,” said Sheriff Bill Prummell. “We are incredibly humbled to receive this vital equipment to continue to keep Charlotte County safe.”

The new 400 Tourniquet Holders and Seven Zoll G5 AEDs & Accessories will allow the deputies of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office to have the lifesaving equipment readily available to them when responding to life threatening calls for service. When minutes count, having the right tools in the right hands makes all the difference. https://ccsoblog.org/
