A 33-year old Charlotte County woman is facing federal charges of money counterfeiting.

The feds say Sabrina Fisher was making funny money and then passing it off at businesses in Charlotte, DeSoto, Sarasota and Polk counties.

Fisher was arrested earlier this summer and charged with bank forgery and possessing instruments for forging bills.

Deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriffs Office and the Secret Service recovered more than $1,200 in fake money from her home.
