A traffic stop for an expired tag led to the discovery of meth in Charlotte County. Monday night, police stopped 61-year old Wesley Council on SR-776 near San Casa when a deputy saw inside an open bag on the passenger seat – a small bag of methamphetamine stored on the outside of a cigarette pack. Wesley now faces meth possession charges- he was also cited for expired tags and driving on a suspended license.
