The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has opened up registration for the Junior Law Academy Summer Camp. The camp is open to middle school students ages 11-14. The Junior Law Academy is designed to give young people the opportunity to learn about the Sheriff’s Office, its operations, and to demonstrate the benefits of law enforcement and community policing. The summer camp will run for two weeks from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Four separate camps are offered through the summer break starting on June 4, June 18, July 9, and July 23rd. The camp will be based out of Port Charlotte High School.
